Interim Review. 18/12/08

Just had the interim review for this project which is the last chance to discuss it with the tutors before the final review in January. I think it went well, some tweaks to make to the scheme but nothing major. I know what I need to do for the final review and I'm feeling confident about it.

EOS 450D

Got a new camera. Should help with site analysis. Representing the forms and materiality of the area will be a lot easier and should make it easier to relate my scheme to it's context. Look out for plenty of photography in upcoming presentations.

Archigram

The ideas and style of Archigram have been a key precedent for me in my current project. In particular I find the image above really interesting.

The interim review for Studio 3C is next Thursday. It's really important for me to get as much work on the wall as possible so that I can get feedback in order to improve it for the final review [January 12th]. So far I think this project is going well.

As I start this blog I am approaching the end of my first semester as a third year student at Strathclyde University. I am hoping that this blog will provide me with the opportunity to reflect on what I have learned so far and will help me to better understand what I learn from this point onwards.
